ColdFusion Open-Source Update - July 14, 2008

Three new projects and five updates this week. I am pretty sick today so I will make this short. The big news this week was probably the MXUnit 1.0 release but it was a very busy week overall.

New Releases and Updates

New Project: cf_scriptalizer
Updates to cf_scriptalizer and InstantSpot.com
Aaron has updates his tag as well as implements it on InstantSpot.

Problem: WAY too many javascript files. Solution: cf_scriptalizer
Aaron Lynch has released this project, which is a custom tag that reduces the number of external javascript requests as well as the size of the included files.

New Project: Combine.cfc
Initial Release
This project by Joe Roberts combines multiple JavaScript or CSS files into a single compressed HTTP request.

New Project: Undelivrnator
Initial Release
This project by Andy Matthews automates the spooling of mail in ColdFusion's undelivered mail folder.

BugLogHQ
BugLog Update and News
Oscar Arevalo posts some news about BugLogHQ and some minor bug fixes.

CF Groovy
CF Groovy 1.0RC (With Hibernate!)
Barney Boisvert released a new version of his ColdFusion/Groovy project that now suports Hibernate.

MXUnit
New MXUnit goodies and a few backwards compatibility busters

MXUnit 1.0 Now Available!
The final 1.0 stable version is released with a long list of improvements since the last release candidate.
